Hair dresser dilemmas

After dumping my hair guy in Winston last year I found a new girl, Katie. Awesome, wonderful, love her. We talk about how we aren't ready for kids and she is basically the red headed version of myself. Today, I asked what was new, and she gave me a weird look, "shoot, she's pregnant." I thought. What came next was worse. "We're moving, to Atlanta."  Bah! Just my luck. I have one year left here before we move, I was expecting to have to go through this in Florida, not here.  Rats.

Found it! I think...

I've been looking for places to sell my jewelry and after a disappointing show this weekend I resorted to Craigslist. A place called Sassy and Classy boutique in Winston-Salem walking for artists for her shop. Starting Saturday the 13th, I will have some of my items here https://m.facebook.com/pages/Sassy-Classy-A-Trendy-Boutique/148991961798610?id=148991961798610&_rdr

Layers of Style

Have you been noticing people wearing several necklaces at once? The problem is, they are often sold together and many times, at least one of the necklaces looks really cheap. So my newest creations is called Layers of Style, each piece can be worn individually or with one or two more pieces. Since they are all made by me, I have kept the chain the same to streamline the design and the lengths of each length the same (shorts are all 18", medium are all 23" and the longs are 28") regardless of style. I am working to photograph different style options combinations. The longs get kind of tricky as they only show well on someone so I need to get some nice wether and my husband and get some pictures of all the great long necklaces I have!

Forsyth ER

So I thought my next post would be about my new line of necklaces I am really excited about. Unfortunately, making jewelry might be on hold. I wrapped my finger up in a chain on the polishing wheel at work an am sitting and waiting in the ER to see if is broken. Fail. It hurts like a beast! But as painful as this was, the jokes tomorrow might be more cruel. Second week and already a workman's comp issue. Awesome :/.

Tomorrow is Another Day... Sorta...

Tomorrow I start my new career with the repair shop at Jared, I am excited,  I know in my heart, I have made the right choice in leaving teaching, at least for now.  It is weird to not be a teacher tomorrow but to know when I leave work tomorrow, it all stays there.  No lesson plans to write, papers to grade, if I take work home from Jared's, it is called stealing. :)
